How many do-overs do you get in Purgatory?
Just one. And you’re lucky to get that one.
Purgatory is the testing ground between Heaven and Hell. You either get a pass or a fail and everyone is guilty of something.
Twersky finds a new friend in Cato, his guide up Mount Purgatory, home of the famous seven terraces and the Garden of Eden.
He must get vetted on each terrace, starting with Pride, before he can rise to the last terrace, Lust. It is on these terraces he is forced to face his failings and make his case for working on the good side.
The climb is not an easy one. It is treacherous and steep, and to make matters worse, Twersky has an unwelcome adversary who threatens to send him back to the Devil’s dreaded underworld.
